MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA: Rep Ilhan Omar wasn't taking it from a reporter who asked her if more Democrats should be vouching for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant deported to his home country of El Salvador.

The Congresswoman asked the Daily Caller News Foundation reporter, Myles Morell, to "f**k off" after the journalist asked Omar to comment on the Abrego Garcia case on Thursday, May 1, per Mediaite.

Morell shared a video of the incident on social media where he introduced himself to Omar and a couple of others as they walked outdoors in his direction.

Morell asked Omar, "Do you think more of your Democratic colleagues should be traveling to El Salvador to advocate on behalf of Abrego Garcia?"

After hearing the question, Omar replied, "I think you should f*** off" as she and others continued to walk down a sidewalk, per Daily Wire.

Surprised by her reply, Morell asked, "I’m sorry, what congresswoman?" as Omar interjected, "You should f**k off."

The reporter again asked her, "Who should?" as Omar said, "You."

Morell asked her why him but Omar did not answer as she walked away.

However, one of the people she was with, apparently a staffer, told Morell they were "not taking any more questions right now."

Notably, the incident took place after Sen Chris Van Hollen and some other Democrats travelled to El Salvador to push for the return of Abrego Garcia, whose attorneys deny he is part of MS-13 gang.

Meanwhile, The Bulwark reported on Wednesday, April 30, that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was urging fellow Democrats to stop visiting El Salvador amid an intra-party debate on how intensely they should clash with President Donald Trump on deportations, per the outlet.

However, Jeffries later denied the report.
