'Lonely' Al Pacino wants to rekindle romance with 'love of his life’ Diane Keaton, reveals insider
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Al Pacino has reportedly now been longing for his ex-girlfriend Diane Keaton after his relationship with Noor Alfallah, with whom he shares a son Roman Pacino, got strained.
The 84-year-old never-married Hollywood legend, who has also dated actresses, like Beverly D’Angelo and Kathleen Quinlan, is trying to win back Keaton, as per Closer Weekly.
Pacino and Keaton had reportedly dated each other on-again, off-again from 1974 to 1990 after first meeting on the set of ‘The Godfather’ in 1972.
A mole disclosed, “Al’s had a lot of time on his hands. He misses Diane and calls her the love of his life.”
Diane Keaton wants no romantic connection with Al Pacino
According to the insider, “He’s been pouring out his heart to her over his recent misery with Noor and hitting her up for dinner dates. He really owes Diane a lot. She’s always looked out for him and helped him get his finances in order many years ago.”
“Now that he’s feeling lonely, he’s acting like he wants to start something up with her,” the source added, before asserting, “Al’s calling Diane all the time!”
However, the ‘Something's Gotta Give’ actress is reportedly not interested in the Academy Award-winning actor.
The insider said, “She’ll be his friend and let him unburden his problems to her, but she’s not going to get romantically involved.”
Al Pacino feels marriage is not for him
Last month, Al Pacino clarified his relationship status with Noor Alfallah as he stated, as per PEOPLE, “I have friendship.”
A spokesperson for ‘The Godfather’ actor added, “Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.”
Besides, in ‘Sonny Boy: A Memoir’, Pacino wrote about love and marriage.
He noted, “Everything's a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing. Are you going to go or not? No, I'll stay here. I'll stay here at the station, I'm not getting on.”
About marriage, he mentioned that it “can suit you, by all means. I just didn't feel it ever suited me for some reason.”
“I loved living together, and then... It depends on who you are getting along with. If you live together with someone, there's got to be…You have to have this communion,” the two Primetime Emmy Awards winner, who is also a father to three adult children, told the publication.
He added, “If you don't, it's almost an invasion. So I like to know that if I find a human that I can connect with.”
