AUKLAND, NEW ZEALAND: Lorde has left her fans worried for her after she shared a cryptic post on her Instagram account after wiping all other posts from it.
On Monday, September 30, the New Zealand singer shared a series of pictures that showed her with a black eye, as reported by Us Weekly.

Lorde leaves confusing caption in lone post on Instagram
The same post also included a photo of a disc from ProHealth Advanced Imaging and one last photo was of a cap that came with a text, reading, “Do you have the stones?”
The ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World’ hitmaker captioned the bizarre online share as, “DYHTS? © 𝑳ĿŁု⑷♶⚤.”
Netizens call Lorder’s post ‘some stupid promo’
Soon people began questioning her as an Instagram user commented, “GIRL, THIS IS SO CONFUSING.”
Another user wrote, “MYYYY GIRLLL WHAT HAPPENEDDD????”
“Posting this with no context is crazy. it’s probably all for aesthetic, but hope you’re okay girl,” a comment read.
Another comment was “Excellent way to re-enter social media. Lead with the black eye and the enigmatic baseball cap. I like it, Lorde, I like it. Keep these people on their toes.”
An individual on Reddit said, “I hope it’s nothing too serious 😭 also, what does the caption mean?? All I see are 4 Ls followed by 4… L4?”
The second individual shared, “It's so concerning, I hope she's okay.”
“She had an injury and she got treated for it (kidding by another photo in the same post), so hopefully she’ll be all right soon,” the third one mentioned.
The fourth one stated, “I'm so confused why she would post this, whether it really happened or it's some stupid promo.”
The fifth one added, “It's hard not to fall a bit into conspiracy theory sometimes. it could be make-up, but why share this specific set of images? especially with everything about the music industry going on rn :/ I just worry a lot. Lorde calls pop music her obsession
This came after in an interview with Time Magazine, Lorde said, “A lot of people make pop music because it will make them rich. I make this music because I’m obsessed with it and I think it’s the best thing in the world.”
“Part of me feels like everything I do from now on, if it’s not as big as ‘Royals,’ some people will perceive it as a failure. But for me, I’m going to spend my life worshipping the form. Sometimes that will just mean that it comes on at a party and everyone runs to the dance floor,” the 27-year-old added.
