LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson are reportedly engaged now and will soon be married too.

It has been said that the musician and the actress have gotten blessings from Chris’ former wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, as well as the former couple's two children — Apple Martin and Moses Martin.

The duo have been together for six years and as per a source, reported by The Mirror, “The couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private. But now they are being open about it with their circles.”

They continued, “They have been besotted with each other from day one so taking this next step was inevitable.”

“They are in no rush to plan the wedding but are just enjoying making their commitment official,” the insider added.

Dakota Johnson loves Chris Martin’s children

This came after Johnson in an interview with Bustle shared that she has no problem being a stepmother to Apple and Moses.

The 34-year-old said, “I love those kids like my life depends on it. With all my heart.”

Explaining her upbringing, the ‘Persuasion’ star mentioned, “I grew up in a family that was so big, and I just believe in the saying ‘Blood is thicker than water.’”

“The actual saying is ‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb,’ which means that the connections with people you choose are more solid than the connections to the people you’re actually born to,” Johnson asserted.

Johnson also claimed to be "open" to the idea of becoming a mother.

She reportedly noted, “I’ve gotten to this place where I really want to experience everything that life has to offer. And especially being a woman, I’m like, What a magical f*cking thing to do. What a crazy, magical, wild experience.”

“If that’s meant to happen for me, I’m totally down for it. I’ve been really tripping out recently like, we’re not here for very long,” she stated.

The daughter of Melanie Griffith added, “There’s so much to eat up and learn and grow from and experience and feel. That includes all the pain and the suffering and feeling so helpless about the world.”
