Mamie Laverock 'doing well' following surgeries after five-story fall from hospital balcony
VANCOUVER, CANADA: Mamie Laverock’s family gave an update on the Hallmark actress’ health after she suffered a fall from a five-storey building.
The ‘When Calls the Heart’ actress’ family, who are giving her health updates through a GoFundMe page, recently provided the update.
The family shared, “Mamie is out of her big surgeries and the doctors [say] she is doing well," per Page Six.
“It’s impossible for us to be happier. Thank you all for your support," added the family.
Per Page Six, the teenager actress might need an “upwards of a month or more" to recover from the injuries sustained. The outlet further reported that her parents said, “Her recovery is unclear at this time,” before adding, “but she is alive and is showing signs of improvement.”

The GoFundMe is being monitored by the 19-year-old actress’ mother Nicole Compton, who is giving updates on her health.
Initially, the page read, “On Saturday May 11th , Nicole traveled to Winnipeg to help Mamie ,who was having a medical emergency. Nicole was able to get there in time to save her life.”
They took the ‘Wedding of Dreams’ star to a hospital in Winnipeg . The update read, “Mamie has since been transferred to Hospital here in Vancouver. Her recovery is unclear at this time but she is alive and is showing signs of improvement.”
Mamie Laverock suffered fall from five story balcony
Later, the actress’s heartbroken family gave another update where they shared that the ‘Spotlight on Christmas’ star suffered a massive fall from a five story balcony when she was taken to a walk in the hospital.
They wrote as an, “Update,” “We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories.”
They added, “She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.”
The note that was undersigned by “Nicole , Rob and the Family,” further read, “We are all devastated, in shock, at this intensely difficult time.”
