'Barbie' star Margot Robbie welcomes first child with husband Tom Ackerley

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Margot Robbie has become a mother after welcoming her first child with husband Tom Ackerley.

According to Daily Mail, the ‘Barbie’ star gave birth to a baby boy on October 17, and only shared the good news with friends and family to protect their privacy.

Recently, the new dad was seen stocking up a box of eco-conscious nappies, along with a box of cigars and a bottle of wine, per outlet. 

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley got hitched in 2016

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley met for the first time in 2013, while working on the project ‘Suite Francaise', in which Ackerley worked as an assistant director and Margot Robbie as an actress. 

They tied the knot in 2016, and continue to work as co-producers on various projects, via their production company LuckyChap Entertainment. 

Previously Robbie opened up about how she fell for Ackerley, “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit,” she told Vogue. 

“And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course, we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'”
