Body-positive advocate Alex Light took to Instagram to highlight the harmful comments directed at Margot Robbie.

In her video, Alex read aloud a series of "ridiculous" social media remarks—mostly from male users—who cruelly judged Margot's pregnant body. She firmly rebutted this criticism, denouncing the "impossible and unachievable societal expectations" that plague women.

Expressing her disbelief, Alex pointed out that even someone widely regarded as "the most beautiful woman on the planet" like Margot, 34, still faces such cruel scrutiny.

"We should let this serve as a reminder that no matter who we are or no matter what we look like, our bodies and the way we look will always be scrutinized," she said.

She added, "So let's just let ourselves live and be free of the burden of these impossible and unachievable societal expectations that affect literally all of us."

Alex added in her caption, "I mean HONESTLY it's just ridiculous at this point. And it just goes to show that no matter WHO you are - even if you are Margot f**king Robbie and considered to be like the most beautiful women on the planet - people will have *something* to say."

She emphasized, "Essentially, there's no way to win, so we might as well free ourselves of the harmful standards and just focus our attention outside of how we look."

Margot Robbie reflects on her relationship with Tom Ackerley

Margot Robbie's pregnancy news broke in July. The expectant mother has been proudly displaying her baby bump in recent public appearances.

An insider revealed that both Margot and Tom Ackerley have long desired to start a family, but are keeping things low-key for now.

The couple, who met in 2013 while working on 'Suite Française', married in 2016, as per DailyMail. Margot previously reflected on their relationship journey, saying, "I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me."

"We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, 'Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot'."

She then expressed, "'Don't be stupid and tell him that you like him'. And then it happened, and I was like, 'Of course we're together'. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before."

After hearing the criticism aimed at Margot Robbie regarding her body during pregnancy, many internet users and fans of the 'Barbie' actress rushed to share their thoughts.

One user claimed, "This is a pregnant woman who looks amazing and happy. If anyone has an issue it’s an issue with themselves."

The second user wrote, "A pregnant person is very beautiful."

The third fan exclaimed, "She looks nice though. "

One user shared, "She looks like she is having a normal and healthy pregnancy unlike all the Hollywood stars that starve themselves during pregnancy.  Ever wonder why so my children of Hollywood actresses are so messed up?"

The other added, "She's pregnant with a child, she's beautiful.  Stop all these hurtful comments."

One person shared, "Charming Beautiful and talented Margot Robbie could probably care less and pays it no attention! That's the biggest response insult she can give to these type of pathetic and unhappy people! She is very happy and in love and is loved by a charming and handsome man and she is going to have a baby to add to her wonderful life! That says it all..."

A comment read, "Disappointing …who trolls a pregnant woman…disgusting."
