LOS ANGELES,CALIFORNIA: Margot Robbie, known for her prominent role in 'Barbie,' and her director husband Tom Ackerley, who have been married since 2016, are now expecting their first child. 

This follows their recent Lake Como vacation where she showed off her baby bump.

Robbie and Ackerley first crossed paths in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama 'Suite Française', where he worked as an assistant director while she starred in front of the camera. 

They later tied the knot in December 2016 during an intimate ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia, as per People.

According to DailyMail, Robbie showed off her midriff while boarding a boat during a holiday to Lake Como with her husband on Sunday, July 7.

During their vacation, the ‘Barbie’ actress was spotted in a cropped white T-shirt that revealed her stomach, paired with black trousers. She completed her look with a black blazer and carried a cream leather bag as she was helped onto the vessel.

Robbie was assisted by her husband, who offered his hand for her to hold. He wore a cream shirt and khaki trousers, smiling happily as they enjoyed their holiday together.

Earlier, Robbie expressed that she would only consider having a baby when she felt prepared, as per DailyMail.

During promotions for her film 'Mary Queen of Scots' in 2019, she shared, "I got married, and the first question in almost every interview is 'Babies? When are you having one?' I'm so angry that there's this social contract"

She added, "You're married, now have a baby. Don't presume. I'll do what I'm going to do".
