The rumors about Carey and Tanaka's apparent split began circulating when the pop star kicked off her "Merry Christmas One and All!" tour in November, and the dancer was noticeably absent from her shows.

Moreover, the couple, who have been dating for seven years, has not been seen publicly together since March.

On her birthday this year, Tanaka took to his Instagram to share a sweet post, writing, "This is one of my favorite pictures. Ever. Happy Anniversary my Beautiful Queen. 3/27."

Tanaka and Carey's relationship began professionally in 2006 when the dancer joined the superstar on her "Adventures of Mimi" tour. After a decade of working together, their connection evolved into a romantic one in 2016.

Despite their longstanding professional and personal history, rumors suggest a possible separation.
