WASHINGTON, DC: Republican lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene is in a public spat with President Donald Trump over the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s emails. Amid the criticism, backlash, and support, Greene has introduced a new slogan.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Greene introduced the “AFAO” slogan, short for “America First, America Only.” The new slogan is meant to replace MAGA (Make America Great Again). She wants Trump to prioritize domestic issues over foreign affairs.

Amid her ongoing feud with Trump, Greene launched her own GOP movement, AFAO, after years of backing Trump and the MAGA agenda. In recent months, she has publicly disagreed with him on key issues, including trade tariffs and his claim that inflation is under control. In an NBC News interview, Greene said, “I’m American first, American only. Hardcore.”

Greene re-shared a post from The Kobeissi Letter on X, highlighting the rising cost of groceries, noting that the average family of four now spends “a record $1,030/month.” Commenting on the post, she wrote, “My heart is with Americans who struggle to afford life in America today."

"After tyrannical COVID lockdowns and gigantic government spending bailouts, inflation has driven cost out of control, while American jobs have been replaced by visa holders and illegals. AFAO!!!" she concluded.

Greene has been increasingly distancing herself from Trump, questioning his focus on foreign policy and his claims of being a “peacemaker.” Months ago, she criticized his involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict, arguing that his attention should be on domestic issues instead of international affairs.

Now, she has also raised concerns about the country’s economic conditions. However, Trump has not yet shared any posts or hit back at Greene.

Previously, she made her stance clear, saying, "For me, I remain America First and America Only!!!"

She added, "I have supported President Trump with too much of my precious time, too much of my own money, and fought harder for him even when almost all other Republicans turned their back and denounced him. But I don’t worship or serve Donald Trump."

Now, the release of the so-called Jeffrey Epstein files became a major turning point. Greene was one of only four Republicans, along with 214 Democrats, to sign a discharge petition calling for the release of all government-held documents related to Epstein.
