LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mark Hamill has paid an emotional tribute to his friend and co-star James Earl Jones who died at the age of 93.

Hamill played Luke Skywalker opposite Jones’ Vader in 'Star Wars' movie.

On Monday, September 9, he tweeted, “#RIP dad 💔” by sharing an article announcing his death.

He was joined by another co-star LeVar Burton who appeared with Jones in the TV movie ‘Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones.' “James Earl Jones… there will never be another of his particular combination of graces,” he wrote on X.

Colman Domingo of ‘Sing Sing’ also remembered Jones, sharing a snap of late actor’s youth days. “Thank you dear James Earl Jones for everything. A master of our craft. We stand on your shoulders. Rest now. You gave us your best,” he wrote, reports Variety.

Oscar-winning director Barry Jenkins wrote on X, “Forever and always,” accompanied by a picture of a young Jones. Jenkins directed the upcoming Disney film 'Mufasa: The Lion King' which follows the early days of young Mufasa and Scar.
