Mark Levin demands Trump admin stop ‘thrashing, smearing and bullying the little state of Israel’
WASHINGTON, DC: Conservative commentator and Fox News host Mark Levin on Saturday, June 20, sharply criticized members of the Trump administration over their recent comments about Israel, accusing officials of unfairly targeting a longtime US ally while seeking diplomatic engagement with Iran.
His remarks come amid growing debate over the implementation of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding and continued Israeli military operations in Lebanon. Levin's comments follow a week in which President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance publicly pushed back against Israeli criticism of the agreement.

Mark Levin condemns criticism of Israel and warns against engagement with Iran
Levin argued that administration officials should stop publicly criticizing Israel and questioned what he described as a shift in attitudes toward Iran. “I want to say to people in and out of the administration, stop trashing, smearing, bullying the little state of Israel,” Levin said.
“Stop cozying up to and telling us that the enemy regime in Iran is now more rational, more moderate, and a regime that we can deal with, when just a few months ago they slaughtered 50,000 people,” he added.
Levin also expressed concern that pressure was being placed on Israel regarding its security decisions and military operations.
“I don't know what's going on, but if people think they can bully a little country, really a people that have existed 4,000 years, through the Babylonians and the Persians, through the Romans and the Third Reich, into surrendering their defense and their decision on how to secure their country, they get another thing coming,” the conservative broadcast news analyst said.
Levin additionally referenced what he described as a longstanding military partnership between the US and Israel.
“I think it's outrageous when we used to see the Secretary of War and the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff daily here on Fox tell us of the fantastic marriage, symmetry between our militaries in defeating this enemy,” the ' Life, Liberty & Levin' host said. “I am really appalled by this and I hope it comes to an end. It's not right, just or truthful.”
Trump, Vance defend Iran agreement as Lebanon dispute continues
Levin’s criticism comes days after Trump and Vance publicly addressed Israeli objections to the administration’s Iran agreement.
In an interview with Axios, Trump argued that US military support had strengthened Israel's position and suggested he retained significant influence over Israeli decision-making. “If it weren’t for Donald Trump, Israel would have been eviscerated,” he said.

Q: Will you be able to control Israel from attacking Lebanon?

Vance also responded to criticism from Israeli officials who questioned the agreement and Trump's handling of the conflict. “My message to them would be twofold. No 1: Donald J Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time,” the vice president said.

The dispute comes as Israel continues military operations in southern Lebanon despite provisions in the US-Iran agreement that call for an end to fighting across multiple fronts.
