LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Martha Stewart opened up about her reservations about having Ryan Reynolds as her neighbor, claiming that despite his funny performances, the 'Deadpool' actor is "not so funny" in real life.

As a special guest on Bilt Rewards' November 'Rent Free' game show, Stewart, 83, admitted that her 48-year-old neighbor Reynolds is not as funny in person when asked which celebrities she believes users picked as the "most fun to hang out with."

During her appearance as a special guest on Bilt Rewards' November 'Rent Free' game show, the lifestyle maven shared her opinions about Ryan Reynolds. The reward company's mobile app streams the game show, akin to 'Family Feud', per the New York Post.

Stewart apprised Bilt CEO and founder Ankur Jain, 34, that she was certain her close friend Snoop Dogg was at the top of the list of celebrities she believed survey participants would find most fun to hang out with.

According to the cookbook queen, Reynolds would probably be a well-liked option as well. "He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face — Ryan Reynolds, is he one of those?" Stewart asked.

She added, "And you want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life. No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious."

Stewart also shared some information about the 'Deadpool' star's off-screen personality. Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively, own a house close to Stewart's Bedford, New York farm.

Stewart gave some more background to her opinion after Jain expressed astonishment that she doesn't think Reynolds is humorous. She remarked, "He’s a good actor. He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again."

"I’m going to get in trouble. He’s my neighbor," she said, possibly sensing the attention her comments would attract.

Reynolds and his spouse, Blake Lively, possess a $2 million mansion in Bedford, New York, close to Stewart's 153-acre estate, which includes greenhouses, a fruit orchard, and room for donkeys and horses, per Page Six.

Reynolds and Lively, 37, became acquainted with Stewart after they bought a home in her neighborhood.

Stewart recalled in a 2014 HuffPost interview, "She moved into my neighborhood a couple of years ago with Ryan — before they got married they bought a house right around the corner from my house. And they started to come over, not to borrow sugar, but just as friends."

They later relocated into a more private residence but still reside close to Stewart. The famous chef added, "They’re very friendly, very nice people. In a way, kind of shy — not shy on the screen, at all, if you’ve seen any of Blake’s movies — but very shy in person."
