LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In yet another shocking development in the case, a second celebrity has been allegedly connected in the Matthew Perry death probe, following the disclosure that officials questioned Brooke Mueller.

Authorities earlier questioned Charlie Sheen's ex-wife, Mueller, in connection with Perry's death on October 28, 2023, from a lethal dose of ketamine.

According to a law enforcement source, Perry was introduced to drug dealers online and received the lethal dosage through the US postal service, per Radar Online.

Second celebrity allegedly linked to Matthew Perry's death investigation

The Los Angeles Police Department, the US Postal Service, and the Drug Enforcement Agency are all involved in a multi-pronged investigation into Perry's death which is expected to come to a close soon.

The 54-year-old late 'Friends' veteran and the mystery actor both claimed to be sober, but InTouch Weekly claimed that they were "walking pharmacies who engaged in late-night chats about their addictions, sobriety battles and personal lives."

According to the outlet, there is also photographic proof of the actor and the other individual together in a doctor's office where ketamine was prescribed.

The insider claimed that Perry and his companion might have "aided" one another by sending one another to their respective doctors when their supplies ran low.

The source stated that if the second person is investigated, new information might surface that would provide light on the source of the ketamine that killed Perry.

The source claimed, "If the feds had either one of their phones — especially [the second celeb’s], because she doesn’t erase her text messages — they would probably find conversations about the drug and ‘How can I get extra?’ Like, ‘Oh, come see my doctor if you need more’. It will not look good for the celebrity."

The medical examiner determined two months after Perry's death that he died from the "acute effects of ketamine," with the postmortem report citing drowning as a contributing factor "due to the likelihood of submersion into the pool as he lapsed into unconsciousness."

Since ketamine metabolizes quickly, the medical examiner observed that the substance would not have been in Perry's blood when he was found unconscious, per OK! Magazine.

Brooke Mueller was the first celebrity to be connected to Matthew Perry's death

The first celeb connected to Perry's death was Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller, who was reportedly questioned "multiple times" by authorities.

The 46-year-old actress became close with the 'Friends' alum after meeting him in "rehab."

Mueller reportedly gave her cell phone and laptop in relation to the criminal inquiry into the unfortunate death of the late star. She had been assisting authorities at the time and was neither placed under arrest nor placed in handcuffs.

"It’s tough to say or know exactly what her role is [in Perry’s death], but she’s adamant she had nothing to do with that," an insider revealed.

Matthew Perry's death investigation remains ongoing

As previously reported by People, a law enforcement source stated that the investigation is "nearing its conclusion."

This could indicate that charges about the use of ketamine and Perry's unfortunate death might soon be brought against "multiple people."

Former CIA and FBI special agent Tracy Walder informed the outlet that mail fraud charges might be brought against the suspects in Perry's death.

"I think that's probably where they started, and that's most likely the evidence that they would use if that's the case. Those are the charges I could see because I don't see a homicide charge," Walder said.
