LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matthew Perry’s family firmly believes that his untimely demise was "murder" amid growing calls for justice from grieving relatives and A-listers alike.

Five individuals have been charged in connection with the beloved 'Friends' actor’s death at age 54.

Among them is Dr Mark Chavez, one of two doctors charged, who has agreed to a plea deal and is expected to plead guilty to a drug-related charge.

Apart from Dr Chavez, Jasveen Sangha and Salvador Plasencia, a doctor known as 'Dr P', are charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine; distribution of ketamine resulting in death; possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine; and altering and falsifying records related to a federal investigation. Kenneth Iwamasa, Perry’s personal assistant, was charged with conspiracy to distribute ketamine. Erik Fleming, an acquaintance of Perry, has also been charged.

“They blame them for Matthew’s death and have no doubt it was ultimately murder,” a source revealed.

'Hollywood Ketamine Queen' Jasveen Sangha faces life in prison amid drug empire allegations

Matthew Perry, who previously battled addiction to opioids, was found unresponsive in his LA home on October 28, 2023. While he was thought to be clean at the time, an autopsy later confirmed on December 15, 2023 the acute effects of ketamine as the cause of his death.

Jasveen Sangha, 41, known as the "Hollywood ketamine queen," is at the center of the investigation. Federal prosecutors allege that she operated a “drug-selling emporium” in Hollywood, and she now faces the possibility of life in prison.

Court documents indicate that the accused drug dealer allegedly supplied ketamine, cocaine, methamphetamine, Xanax, and various other narcotics

Matthew Perry’s death exposes Hollywood’s dark 'underbelly'

Subsequently, Jasveen Sangha’s arrest has only intensified the scrutiny, with speculation swirling about which famous names might be implicated next.

“This has set off so many alarm bells and really lifted the lid of the underbelly of Hollywood and the level of addiction that is still running rampant,” the source claimed.

“The word is more bombshells are going to drop as they scramble to defend themselves and throw people under the bus along the way. Matthew’s loved ones are absolutely horrified that he was prescribed ketamine when it’s a known party drug, regardless of the supposed therapeutic effects, as an addict they feel he should not have been prescribed it and they absolutely feel it was a slippery slope that led him to abusing it again,” reported In Touch

Grieveing Matthew Perry's loved one's demand justice against drug pushers

Matthew Perry was reportedly receiving a staggering “three and six shots of ketamine a day, including the one that led to his death,” per Daily Mail. “

[Matthew’s] stepfather, Keith Morrison, himself a renowned 60 Minutes investigative journalist, is the one that pushed hard for this investigation,” the source continued.

"His family couldn’t just let this go and they’re happy that charges have been laid but they want to see real justice done with serious jail time so that these depraved dealers and so-called doctors are off the street. Keith has the contacts, the soft skills and decades of experience in dealing with local and national law enforcement to make a real difference in the investigation into Matthew’s death,” another source previously reported.

"If they have their way. more people will be exposed in this because they do feel it could save lives, they know Matthew was far from the only star grappling with addiction and being prayed on by dealers.”
