Reflecting on one memorable conversation with her son, Suzanne recalled a touching moment when Perry expressed his love to her.
Describing the exchange, she said, “He came up to me and said, ‘I love you so much and I’m so happy to be with you now.’ It was almost as though it was a premonition of something.”
Although she did not think much of it at the time, she later realized it had been years since they shared such an intimate moment.
“I think there was something… an inevitability to what was going to happen next, and he felt it very strongly,” she continued.
“But he said, ‘I’m not frightened anymore.’ And it worried me,” she added.

Matthew Perry's tragic death
Matthew Perry died at the age of 54 on October 28, 2023. He was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home.
Following his untimely death, his family released a statement to express their profound grief as they wrote, “We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother.”
“Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend. You all meant so much to him, and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love,” they added.
An autopsy later revealed that Perry’s death was due to acute effects of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic known for its hallucinogenic properties, according to People.
