LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: One of Matthew Perry’s Los Angeles properties has been listed back in the property market.

The ‘Friends’ star - who released his memoir 'Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing' in 2022, closed the deal on the $5 million house last May, just a few months before his tragic death in October 2023, which shook the world.

The late actor, who breathed his last in his other LA property at Pacific Palisades, aged 54, did not even get a chance to enjoy his new home, per Daily Mail.

Perry was found unresponsive in the hot tub of his Pacific Palisades house on October 28, with his autopsy listing the cause of his death as “acute effects of ketamine".

Matthew Perry’s property listed in property market

Perry closed the deal on his Hollywood Hills midcentury home for $4.9 million in an off-market deal, on May 31, 2023, per Architectural Digest.

The four-bedroom house, at 1479 Rising Glen Road, is situated on a sloped 0.22-acre plot. The 1957-built freshly renovated property sprawls over 2,566 square feet and boasts fully furnished three bedrooms and four bathrooms. 

The ‘17 Again’ scooped the Sunset Strip-facing property off the market after it was listed initially in September 2022.

All the bedrooms are fitted with sleek stone-clad ensuite bathrooms, with the master bedroom boasting a double vanity, a soaking tub with a wall-mounted TV, and a glass-walled rain shower.

The classic property boasts of all-day natural light through its oversized glass windows.

Adding to the sunny porch, the house has a beautiful swimming pool and firepit on the south-facing deck, along with a double garage.

The fully furnished home comes with light-colored walls and contemporary furniture in wood and earth-toned palettes.

Matthew Perry’s other properties

Matthew Perry's endearing and iconic portrayal of Chandler Bing in the cult sitcom 'Friends' catapulted him to massive stardom. The late actor boasts of an enviable property portfolio.

Previously, Perry owned a condo in the celebrity-favorite Sierra Towers, another Malibu house that he sold in 2020, and a $35 million penthouse, now owned by Rihanna.

As the house was listed, the fans of the actor mourned Perry while some commented about the futility of life.

One social media user said, "It's sad you can have everything in life but if you suffer from the disease of addiction, the void is hard to fill in someone that is suffering. (yes it's a mental health illness)."

Someone else added, "Heartbreaking to know he'll never live in that beautiful home, or have the family he so desired. RIP."
