Mayim Bialik fuming over Ken Jennings' 'Jeopardy!' success, resents leaving show without a fight

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mayim Bialik, still reeling from her exit from 'Jeopardy!' in December 2023, has reportedly expressed her frustration towards the show and its current host, Ken Jennings.
Sources revealed that her bitterness has only deepened as her efforts to revive her beloved past shows, 'Big Bang Theory' and 'Blossom', have failed to gain traction.
With Jennings’ success on 'Jeopardy!' only adding fuel to the fire, it seems Bialik is struggling to move past her Hollywood setbacks.
What did sources say about Mayim Bialik's fumer over 'Jeopardy!'?
Mayim Bialik is reportedly fuming over 'Jeopardy!' and host Ken Jennings, blaming him for taking her job and leaving her with little to look forward to.

Sources confirm that Bialik is also struggling to revive her former hits, 'Big Bang Theory' and 'Blossom', which seem to be going nowhere, leaving her increasingly frustrated.
Radar Online reported that the 49-year-old neuroscientist appeared visibly unhappy while out for a walk in her LA neighborhood last month.
Her hopes for a 'Big Bang Theory' return also seem to be fading, as co-star Jim Parsons has already expressed he doesn't want to return.

An insider shared, "So where does that leave Mayim? She's doing her podcast – but for all her smarts and high IQ, she can't make a Hollywood comeback happen."
The source also revealed that Bialik is still bitter about Jennings' success on 'Jeopardy!' after she was let go in December 2023.
"She finds it deplorable that Ken's doing so well. In hindsight, taking the pink slip without a fight was probably the worst thing she ever did," the insider added.

Bialik also shared that her efforts to revive the Blossom reboot have been stalled, attributing it to Disney's acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
She explained to The Hollywood Reporter, "We're in a ridiculous conversation now with legal about who owns it and where does it live, We have an entire cast that is ready to do this."
Why did Mayim Bialik leave 'Jeopardy'?
Michael Davies, the executive producer of the show, is opening up about her departure after she announced it in December 2023, as per Deadline.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in February 2024, Davies explained, "[When I] over the show, we were forced into that situation from everything that had happened before, the guest hosting period."
He went on to say, "Mayim was left hosting the primetime versions. I brought in Ken [Jennings] to guest host because Mayim had her schedule, her Fox sitcom [Call Me Kat], so couldn’t host all the episodes."
Davies added, "Over the past two and a half seasons, what we’ve heard a lot from our television stations and other interested parties is they were looking for more consistency. They wanted a single host."

He also praised Bialik's hosting, saying, "Mayim is a superb host on Jeopardy! We hope to continue working with her on primetime versions [and] other spinoffs of the show. Those conversations are ongoing, but Ken has really won the job."
Bialik officially announced her departure from the show in December 2023, and she stepped away from hosting the final week of Season 39.
