Meadow Walker remembers her father Paul Walker on his 51st birthday, calls him her 'guardian angel'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Meadow Walker, the daughter of late actor Paul Walker, paid a heartfelt tribute to her father on what would have been his 51st birthday.

On Thursday, September 12, Meadow, 25, shared a touching throwback photo from her childhood, capturing a sweet moment with her father.

Paul Walker tragically died in a car accident in 2013 when he was just 40 years old.

In the Instagram post, Meadow, who is Paul Walker's only child, included a photo of her younger self gazing up at her father while he smiled down at her.

“Happy birthday to my best friend. I love and miss you so much every day. Thank you for everything. My forever guardian angel,” she captioned the post.

Meadow Walker, who often pays tribute to her father on social media, has continued to honor his memory through her posts.

Last year, marking the 10th anniversary of Paul Walker's passing, Meadow shared a nostalgic video of a surprise birthday visit she gave her father.

In the clip, Meadow can be seen greeting her father as he opened a tour bus door, leaving him in complete shock.

After realizing his daughter was there, Paul falls onto a bed in disbelief. Meadow then says, "Happy Birthday," to which her father responds, "You just scared the hell out of me. What the hell are you doing? Oh, man!"

Cody Walker reflects on Paul Walker's pride for Meadow Walker

Ahead of the 10-year anniversary of Paul Walker's death in 2023, his brother, Cody Walker, spoke to People about Meadow's growth and accomplishments.

Reflecting on her progress, Cody shared what he believed Paul would be most proud of.

"I'd want him to know that she has just grown to be such a beautiful young lady," Cody said.

Meadow has built a career as a professional model, having walked in prestigious fashion shows such as Vivienne Westwood and Rokh.

"She's pursuing a career that's extremely difficult, but she's finding her own way and she's landing success, and he'd be so proud of her," Cody said.

Meadow Walker's role in honoring Paul Walker's legacy

In addition to her modeling career, Meadow Walker plays an important role in preserving her father's legacy through the Paul Walker Foundation.

Cody Walker, who serves as the foundation's chairman, has highlighted its mission to honor Paul's "love for the ocean."

Established in 2015 to mark what would have been Paul’s 42nd birthday, the foundation raises awareness about environmental issues and provides grants and scholarships to students studying marine science.

Paul Walker's tragic death occurred on November 30, 2013, when the Porsche he was a passenger in crashed into a light pole and tree before bursting into flames.

The car, driven by his friend Roger Rodas, collided with a fatal impact, and both men lost their lives. Paul Walker's contributions to The 'Fast & Furious' are remembered in six films.
