Meghan is reportedly sourcing her ingredients from an Illinois-based firm called The Republic of Tea.

But insiders close to the former actress have defended her, claiming her blend is “different” than the one sold by The Republic of Tea.

“She is taking advantage of celebrity branding. But it’s a case of Meghan Mark-up, not Meghan Markle,” she added.

Many social media users have also slammed the mother of two since learning the truth about her As Ever tea offerings.

An X (formerly Twitter) user wrote, “Nobody should be surprised Meghan Markle is a fraud when it comes to business Nobody should be surprised Meghan Markle is repackaging Republic of Tea’s product to shill as her own The same moron who took pretzels from one bag & placed into another Meghan is just like Doria.”

Another said, “With all of her money and ‘network,’ wouldn't you think she could source more original products.  How could you be that lazy and misguided?”

A person remarked, “Even if repackaging ROT as her own is okay, why the heck would you want to pay more for something you can get cheaper elsewhere?”

“She’s a total moron ! It’s hilarious that she continues doing the same things over and over again…flops, lies and more flops!” a critic tweeted.

“Not one original idea. Ever,” one more wrote.

Another critic said, "Taking a cheap product and repackaging it in expensive tat seems to be the business plan. In every aspect."

Former palace spokesman slams Meghan Markle’s wine business

Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Meghan Markle is set to launch her first alcoholic beverage. It will go on sale from July 1, which would have been Princess Diana’s 64th birthday.

On her latest venture, former palace spokesman Dickie Arbiter said, “I don’t think we should be surprised that anything she does and as far as bringing out a wine, it’s going to sell for something like £20 or 28 US dollars. It’s a lot of money,” according to The Sun.

He continued, “And if you’re going to go into that sort of business, you’ve got to produce a lot of wine to make money. If her jam is anything to go by, it’s going to be sold out in about ten minutes.”

“How many bottles is she producing? Who’s producing it? She’s not a wine expert. So, you know why go into something that you probably know nothing about?” Arbiter added.
