Andersen suggested that the former ‘Suits’ actress “must be conflicted” about the entire situation, per The Mirror.

He shared, "Meghan, in particular, must be incredibly conflicted about all the incoming heat Kate and the royals are taking, not to mention the way the palace continues to bungle things on a daily basis.”

Harry and Meghan accused of trying to 'one-up' Prince William and Kate

Amid the widespread hue and cry following the photo-editing fiasco, Meghan Markle has also launched her plush lifestyle website and accompanying Instagram account titled American Riviera Orchard.

The timing of the launch has, nevertheless, drawn flak from royal critics who feel that Prince Harry and the Duchess are utilizing the tumultuous time to their benefit.

Criticizing their attempts to rebrand themselves in Hollywood, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said, as per The Mirror, "The timing simply means that obviously (yesterday would have got them) a lot of promotion. Obviously, so, it's obvious why they chose this time."

He continued, "As far as the timing is concerned it's perfectly obvious why the Sussexes have done this - they always plan pretty meticulously,” before adding, “There's no doubt that they never do anything accidentally.”

"Nothing is ever accidental. They do it to obviously push the news in their opinion," he continued telling The Sun, as per OK! Magazine.

Fitzwilliams continued, "There's no doubt at all that the Sussexes are making use of the material they have to do a bit of one-upmanship. It's obvious."

Nevertheless, despite drawing criticism from a few royal experts, Meghan's brand is also receiving praises from certain circles.

Brand expert Hayley Knight predicts that she will "make six figures" within weeks of its launch.

Knight told Daily Mail, "Meghan will certainly see success quickly once the store is launched. We have seen with previous celebrity launches, that the demand is incredibly high, and products sell quickly."

Knight continued, "I can't imagine Meghan will make less than six figures within the first few weeks of opening, if not in the first week if the company sells globally."
