Meghan Markle poised to 'make an absolute fortune' writing tell-all memoir on royal family feud
MONTECITO, CALIFORNIA: Meghan Markle is working on her highly anticipated tell-all, which might prove to be a profitable endeavor for her after she lost her Spotify deal in 2023, according to sources.
According to a source, Markle will also go into further detail about her battles with mental health in the supposed upcoming tell-all memoir.
Meghan Markle set to provide 'complete' account of royal struggles in tell-all memoir
The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex previously admitted that she struggled with suicidal thoughts as a royal in the UK. Earlier in August, Markle even touched upon the topic again in a CBS interview.
The mother-of-two claimed to CBS that she had only "scraped the surface" of her struggles with mental health while residing in the UK following her 2018 royal wedding.
According to an insider, the 'Suits' alum is reportedly going to comment further when the time is appropriate.
"The talk among their friends is that it’s time to take the gloves off and do away with the diplomacy," the source told Closer magazine.
"There’s so much demand for Meghan to speak out, whether that’s in the form of another sit-down interview or even her own memoir. She has the potential to make an absolute fortune and clear up a lot of questions."
The insider claimed that Markle's intense desire to publish a written work was sparked by the royal family's decision to reject the Sussexes from this year's summer getaway at Balmoral.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly "not shocked" to not be invited to the event, but this was unwelcome news, said the source.
"They’re now being forced to figure out a strategy to fight back, and one option on the table is to go all-out with a big tell-all from Meghan where she completely lays out her side of the story," the source added.
A source with knowledge of the couple's transactions, however, has refuted the reports despite their existence.
Following the release of Harry's shocking memoir 'Spare' in January 2023, there have been persistent rumors about Markle writing her version in a tell-all book.
The explosive book became the fastest-selling nonfiction book ever written, uncovering every detail of the Duke's tenure at the Firm, per the New York Post.
Markle gained recognition as an author following the publication of her children's book, 'The Bench', in 2021. She went on to start the now-defunct podcast 'Archetypes' and the yet-to-be-launched lifestyle business American Riviera Orchard.
Alleged tell-all memoir might prove to be profitable endeavor for Meghan Markle
Following her termination from Spotify, royal observers began wondering what the Duchess of Sussex would do next. Insiders claimed Markle's American Riviera Orchard lifestyle brand had been delayed from its release date.
A source revealed, "Everyone has to abide by Netflix’s schedule these days. They are by far the biggest player in town," per OK! Magazine.
The source went on to say that until Netflix started pushing Markle's cookery show, there was "literally no point in Meghan doing anything."
Moreover, Markle was seen at the G9 Summit in New York while she was getting ready to launch American Riviera Orchard.
Some observers believe the American Riviera Orchard could benefit from the Duchess of Sussex's attention-grabbing abilities despite criticisms.
