WASHINGTON, DC: In a recent interview, Melania Trump disclosed the touching five-word phrase she tells her husband, former president Donald Trump, before he leaves their residence.

This disclosure follows two grave assassination attempts on him, underscoring the couple's persistent worries about his safety.



 

Melania Trump highlights increased vigilance and support for Donald Trump amid threats

In her appearance on Fox & Friends, the former first lady discussed adopting a more cautious approach after threats against her husband at his rally and golf course.

She said, “I am very vigilant and very selective where I go, what I do, because, you know, you never know. It’s very dangerous out there.”

Melania also expressed her belief that campaigning has become significantly more "dangerous" for Trump compared to his 2016 presidential run, as reported by Express US.

She also shared that before he departs from home, she tells him, "Good luck and be safe," adding, "You never know what kind of phone call you will receive and what can happen in life. Life is fragile and we need to enjoy it everyday."

Melania has made infrequent appearances at Trump's rallies throughout his ongoing presidential campaign.

The first fundraiser for her spouse's 2024 campaign took place in April of this year, following nearly a year and a half of the former president's re-election campaigning.

She also made an appearance at her husband's rally on Sunday, October 27, at Madison Square Garden in New York. During her interview with Fox, Melania mentioned she attended the event to "support" her husband, adding that she loves the "incredible place" that New York City is.

In the interview, Melania Trump also emphasized that her husband "is not Hitler," following a surge of accusations comparing him to the historical figure.

She said, “He’s not Hitler, and all of his supporters, [they’re] standing behind him because they want [to] see [the] country successful, and we see how — what kind of support he has.”

Melania has also labeled the comparisons of her husband to a dictator as "terrible."

At a rally in Atlanta, Georgia, Trump refuted comparisons to Hitler.

The Republican presidential nominee sustained an ear injury from a gunshot during a rally in Pennsylvania, and another individual, armed and plotting to commit harm, was apprehended at a golf course in Florida.
