WASHINGTON, DC: Melania Trump made a stylish return to the White House Rose Garden on Thursday, August 20, catching attention with a patriotic red-and-blue outfit before unveiling a major expansion of her Fostering the Future initiative.

The first lady stepped back into the spotlight in a sky-blue oversized Michael Kors shirt, a vivid red Dior pencil skirt and matching red Manolo Blahnik suede pumps. Standing in front of a wall of American flags, her outfit appeared perfectly suited to the setting.

“I heard you missed me. Here I am,” Melania Trump said as she took the podium, invoking laughter from the crowd, including President Donald Trump.

The combination of blue and red stood out against the American flags behind her, giving the first lady a distinctly patriotic look for an event that also had a very American backdrop.

Parked nearby was an IndyCar covered in red, white and blue.
