WASHINGTON, DC: Donald Trump is considering bringing Kellyanne Conway on board to revitalize his struggling campaign, as per recent reports.

The vocal advisor is regarded as a reliable confidant by the former president and, notably, by Melania Trump, who is advocating for Conway's return, viewing her as "a familiar face amid a sea of relative newcomers," according to Puck's Tara Palmeri.

Melania and Lara Trump are pushing for Kellyanne Conway's return

Apart from Melania Trump, the former president's daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, the co-chair of the Republican National Committee, has also reportedly advocated for the inclusion of Kellyanne Conway to reinvigorate campaign veterans who were caught off guard by Kamala Harris' rapid rise following Joe Biden's unexpected withdrawal.

An advisor mentioned to Puck that the GOP nominee tends to heed the counsel of influential women over men.

They claimed, "He listens to Hope Hicks. He listens to Brooke Rollins. Ironically, he likes powerful women. If you’re a sharp woman, he will listen to you. Hope and these people could tell him the hardest shit. He may not have done anything, but at least he listens."

The report indicates that the momentum to reinstate Conway has increased following a post from August 2, which featured a photo of them together in New Jersey.

"The genesis of this was when Kellyanne tweeted out the picture with Trump. That was the moment when Kellyanne and Trump were saying: 'This is where I’m going,'" supposedly stated a Trump advisor.

Donald Trump's campaign is divided on whether Kellyanne Conway should resume her 2016 role

Puck reports that Donald Trump's campaign is divided regarding whether Kellyanne Conway should resume a role akin to her 2016 position.

The longtime Republican strategist has taken steps to mend fences with JD Vance, Trump's vice-presidential pick, after indicating a preference for Marco Rubio.

Palmeri notes that they have spoken by phone to resolve any tensions, and Conway has recently praised Vance's plane stunt with a "Brilliant" tweet when he arrived at the same airport as Harris and her newly announced running mate, Tim Walz, on August 7.

The Puck report also notes that she is registered as a foreign agent for a Ukrainian oligarch who compensates her with a monthly payment of $50,000. This could lead to speculation among her critics that she is profiting from her association with Trump.

Internet reacts to reports of Melania Trump pushing for Kellyanne Conway's inclusion in Donald Trump's 2024 campaign

Netizens had a lot to say about Kellyanne Conway's possible inclusion in Donald Trump's 2024 campaign, which is said to be faltering in the light of Kamala Harris' momentum

One wrote, "Yes, nothing will reinvigorate Trump's stalled 2024 campaign quite like bringing back the same person who told all the same lies that didn't work in 2020. They are shrewd that way."

Another said, "Ew, I forgot about her," while a person remarked, "Kellyanne 'alternative facts' Conway & the cult of liars."

Someone else questioned, "That’s their plan to reignite things?" One more declared, "Melania is working to sabotage the campaign. She wants out, and is trying to speed up its demise."

"Bringing back Kellyanne does not get rid of Vance," quipped an individual.
