MAITLAND, FLORIDA: NBA legend Michael Jordan’s second eldest son, Marcus, did not hesitate to name-drop his famous father after speeding away from cops and getting arrested for DUI on Tuesday, February 4.

Dashcam footage shows Marcus speeding away from an attempted traffic stop conducted by a Seminole County Sheriff’s officer around 1:03 am, according to the New York Post.

As per the dashcam footage, Marcus told an officer, “I’m Marcus Jordan, I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong.”

The basketball legend’s son added, “I’m just trying to get home and I made a wrong turn and clearly we would just like to get our f*****g car off the f*****g train tracks.”

The arrest footage shows Marcus and a young unidentified woman being met by authorities as his blue Lamborghini SUV was stuck on the train tracks, according to US Weekly.

Moreover, he was asked how he got there and he said that he made a wrong turn and ended up stuck, per the outlet.

Marcus could be heard saying, “We thought we were making a right and I f*****g turned onto the train tracks apparently.”

The clip showed that they both came out of the car as they were asked by officers since a train was scheduled to approach. Marcus seemed to stumble as he walked down the tracks before asking authorities if they could assist him in pushing the car out of the track.

The officers responded, “My concern is us” to which Marcus said, “The concern is the $300,000 vehicle. I would like to just push this s*** out of the way.”

Marcus earlier played college basketball at the University of Central Florida and was famous for his off-and-on romance with ex-Larsa Pippen, the ex of former NBA star Scottie Pippen.

Marcus was later questioned by the authorities if he had been drinking as one officer claimed to smell alcohol on him. He however declined that he was under the influence of alcohol.

He said, “I appreciate your concerns but I am not inebriated. I am not anything that cannot drive home. Thing is I am not familiar with this area, I made a right and I thought I was making a right onto the highway and I made a right onto the f*****g train tracks.”

Police finds a 'baggie' in Marcus Jordan's pocket

The police made Marcus perform a field sobriety test and asked him how much he had to drink. He replied “a little bit, under the legal limit” which is “.08”, according to US Weekly.

The cops further asked him how many drinks that equals out to and Marcus replied frustratingly, “F*** if I know man … I’m not a scientist.”

Moreover, the former basketball player also claimed that he did not take any “illegal substances” but the police found a baggie in his pocket and an officer assumed it was “probably going to be cocaine because that explains the agitation,” the outlet mentioned.

The police report obtained by US Weekly mentioned that Marcus admitted to consuming “some” alcoholic drinks earlier in the evening at different venues including Rachel’s Gentleman’s Club.

Furthermore, Michael Jordan’s son “refused” to get into the police car, the report mentioned. It added that he became “agitated and irritated” and asked why he was “getting treated like a criminal like he was doing something wrong.”
