LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Michelle Obama recently revealed who she and Barack consider as couple goals and look up to for marital advice.

The former first lady made the revelation during the latest episode of her podcast ‘IMO’.

On June 11, she sat down with Bruce Springsteen, where she declared, “You and Patti [Scialfa] have been a couple mentors for me and Barack for quite some time,” as reported by Us Weekly.

Not just as a wife, Scialfa has also supported Springsteen in his music career as she provides vocal harmonies, and guitar, especially on acoustic instruments, in the E Street Band, of which she has been a member since 1984.

This came after earlier this year it was speculated that the Obamas’ marriage was ending after she did not attend President Donald Trump’s inauguration and the funeral of former President Jimmy Carter alongside her husband.

But Michelle clarified the rumors during an April episode of Sophia Bush’s ‘Work in Progress’ podcast.

She reportedly stated, “[People] couldn’t even fathom that I was making a choice for myself, that they had to assume that my husband and I are divorcing.”

“This couldn’t be a grown woman just making a set of decisions for herself. But that’s what society does to us. We start actually finally going, ‘What am I doing? Who am I doing this for?’” the attorney added.

Besides, on the April 30 episode of the 'Diary of a CEO' podcast, Michelle asserted that "if  I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it. And let me tell you, and he would know it and everybody would know it," as per E! News.
