The 66-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories to post a black and white of them from the set of the 1985 ABC afterschool special 'One Too Many'. She wrote above the photo, "Rest In Peace, Val," with a red heart emoji.
Notably, the two became friends after starring together in the special.

Kilmer had earlier revealed the "intimacy" between them but candidly revealed that he had a crush on her younger sister, Lori Pfeiffer, per Daily Mail.
Moreover, he added that he always felt comfortable talking to Michelle and was able to open up to her about his parents, with whom he shared a strained relationship.
Meanwhile, Pfeiffer was able to share with Kilmer the details of her rocky marriage to Peter Horton, whom she later divorced.

Kilmer wrote in his book, "The secret pain that Michelle and I shared created an intimacy between us."
Moreover, he claimed to have adored her but also confessed that he had always had an "all-consuming crush" on her younger sister Lori, who "did not seem to reciprocate, even a little. In fact, she seemed to not even know I existed".
However, though the details of their alleged romance are unclear, they are thought to have dated sometime during the 1980s, the outlet stated.
Interestingly, in November 2018, Kilmer also posted the same photo on Instagram that Pfeiffer shared after his death.
