Mickey Rourke axed from 'Celebrity Big Brother' for 'unacceptable behaviour' after remark about JoJo Siwa

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has quit 'Celebrity Big Brother' following a string of explosive incidents—including a vile remark aimed at fellow housemate JoJo Siwa.
The show confirmed his departure, citing “inappropriate language” and “unacceptable behavior” as the reasons behind his sudden exit.
Just days earlier, Rourke had received an official warning for directing offensive language and behavior toward Siwa.
Mickey Rourke agreed to leave show after using inappropriate language

Mickey Rourke's departure from the TV series followed an altercation with Chris Hughes during a task on Saturday, April 12. While no physical confrontation occurred, Rourke used language that was deemed threatening and aggressive.
A spokesperson for 'Celebrity Big Brother' announced that Rourke has decided to leave the house.
The statement read, "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."
Earlier on Saturday, April 12, fans of the show had speculated Rourke might be planning to quit after they noticed what seemed like a subtle hint, as per Daily Mail.
This came just after former Tory MP Michael Fabricant became the first contestant evicted, receiving the most nominations from his fellow housemates.
As the results were announced, Fabricant bid his farewells amid a mixture of boos and cheers before exiting the house and greeting hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40.

However, viewers observed Rourke, 72, seemingly attempting to leave the house along with Fabricant, which fueled suspicions about his departure.
Earlier, viewers had criticized Rourke for his behavior toward JoJo Siwa, 21, after he made a series of homophobic remarks. Rourke had suggested that he could “make her straight,” and called her a derogatory slur.
In a conversation with Chris Hughes, Rourke said, "I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick," which Siwa overheard and responded, "That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning."
Hughes quickly intervened, telling Rourke, "You can’t do that, Mickey," but Rourke continued, adding, "I need a f*g," while gesturing toward JoJo and clarifying, “I’m not talking to you.”
The comments sparked outrage among viewers, who called for Rourke to be removed from the house. Siwa, however, was praised by fans for how she handled the situation with grace.

One commenter wrote, "He was the most interesting character in the house." Another shared, "I won't be watching it now! He was the best bit about the s**t show!"

Mickey Rourke received warning from Big Brother for using offensive language

Mickey Rourke had joined the show on Monday alongside JoJo Siwa, Hughes, and ten other celebrities.
According to a transcript from ITV ahead of Wednesday's episode, Rourke asked Siwa whether she liked boys or girls. She responded, “Girls. My partner is non-binary.”
The Oscar-nominated actor then replied, “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”
Siwa calmly assured him, “I can guarantee I’ll still be gay and I’ll still be in a very happy relationship," as per BBC.
He then made the comment about voting her out and also remarked about needing a cigarette, gesturing toward Siwa and saying, “I’m not talking to you.”
After Hughes intervened, telling him he couldn’t say that, Rourke tried to explain, “I know. I was talking about a cigarette.”
Following the incident, Rourke was called into the diary room, where Big Brother told him his language was “offensive and unacceptable,” issuing him a formal warning.
Rourke apologized, saying, “I apologise. I don't have dishonourable intentions. I'm just talking smack, you know. I wasn't taking it all so serious. I didn't mean in it any bad intentions and if I did, sorry.”
Later, Hughes informed Rourke that Siwa had been very upset earlier and explained that the term used was “not acceptable.”
Rourke apologized again, acknowledging his short temper and reaffirming, “I want to apologise. I've got a habit of having a short fuse. And I don't mean nothing by it. I do mean it [sorry]. If I didn't, I wouldn't say it to you.”
Siwa responded, “I appreciate your apology.”
