WASHINGTON, DC: Former boxing rivals Mike Tyson and Jake Paul reunited in Washington, DC, at the Starlight Ball to celebrate the inauguration of Donald Trump on Monday, January 20.

The pair, who faced off in a much-publicized boxing match last November, shared laughs and good spirits at the event, according to People.

Mike Tyson and Jake Paul's fight upsets boxing fans 

Jake Paul, 27, posted a video on Instagram showing himself lifting Mike Tyson, 57, onto his shoulders as the crowd cheered.

Tyson and Paul’s November 15 fight attracted widespread attention as the two exchanged intense words leading up to the event.

One fiery moment was when Tyson slapped Paul during the final weigh-in faceoff. The reaction was prompted after Paul stepped on Tyson's foot.

Paul later expressed his excitement about the moment, writing on X, "This is a pinch me moment. I got slapped by Mike Tyson."

The bout concluded with Jake Paul defeating Mike Tyson in an eight-round unanimous decision.

Speaking to Covino & Rich on Fox Sports on December 9, Tyson reflected on the match, saying, "I kind of blanked out a little."

He added, "The day after I woke up and said to my wife, ‘Why did I do that?’ I just don’t know what the hell was going on."

Fans take a jibe at Jake Pauls 'best friends' remark for Mike Tyson 

Fans were quick to react to Jake Paul’s Instagram post, with many questioning the sincerity of the “best friends” label as the fight has been labeled scripted since Mike Tyson's loss.
