Mike Tyson shares message of support for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs amid embattled rapper’s scandal
DALLAS, TEXAS: Mike Tyson has publicly expressed support for Sean 'Diddy' Combs amid his legal challenges involving racketeering conspiracy and trafficking charges.
In a Daily Mail interview on Friday, October 11, Tyson conveyed his best wishes to his longtime friend, who has been locked up at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since September 17 on multiple federal charges.

At the Manhattan courthouse on Thursday, October 10, the judge denied Sean 'Diddy' Combs' bail request for the third time. The beleaguered music mogul, aged 54, will stay in custody until his trial date on May 5, 2025.
Like numerous celebrities, Tyson's name has been linked with the disgraced CEO of Bad Boy Records after his arrest on racketeering and trafficking charges, stemming from their longstanding friendship.
The 58-year-old retired heavyweight has been seen with Diddy at his renowned gatherings on multiple occasions throughout the years. However, it is important to note that there is no evidence to suggest that he or any celebrities who attended Diddy's previous parties participated in any purported illegal activities.
When informed by the Daily Mail that his name had been linked with Diddy, he appeared to be taken aback. “Wait, I’m synonymous with Diddy? Well, that’s cool,” Tyson responded. “I never knew that.”
However, when prompted to comment, Tyson responded, “I wish him the best. In life, I wish him the best.”

In a podcast interview last year, Tyson humorously referred to his friend as 'Sugar Diddy.'
“I just know him for a long time,” he told Patrick Bet-David, the host of 'PBD Podcast'. “I knew him before he was Diddy and for a long time. When I first became champ I knew him.”
He also talked about attending parties with the rap mogul.
“I remember him he used to have crates when he’s at my after parties and stuff. Also when they were throwing parties,” Tyson said.
When Bet-David mentioned that “so many people in music and Hollywood feared this guy ‘Diddy’, as if he’s untouchable,” the boxer responded, “Oh Sugar Diddy.”
