Mike Tyson's fans relieved he wasn’t ‘KO’d’ by Jake Paul in first round of Netflix's boxing match
ARLINGTON, TEXAS: Jake Paul won the highly-anticipated boxing match against legendary boxer Mike Tyson (79-73) by a unanimous decision on Friday, November 15, as the match went through all eight rounds.
However, several of Mike Tyson's fans were also relieved that the legendary wasn’t ‘KO’d’ by Jake Paul in the very first round of Netflix's blockbuster boxing match.

Jake Paul was humble about his victory after the fight, saying, "First and foremost, Mike Tyson … it’s such an honor. Let’s give it up for Mike, he’s a legend. He’s the greatest to ever do it. He’s the GOAT. I look up to him, I’m inspired by him, and we wouldn’t be here today without him."
Tyson also spoke about the fight as he said, "I didn’t prove nothing to anybody, only to myself" and also gave props to Paul as an athlete, saying, "He’s a very good fighter."
The fight took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Roy Jones Jr, Kate Abdo, and Rosie Perez took the commentating duties. Before the fight, Netflix released the docuseries 'Countdown: Paul vs Tyson' about the two athletes preparing for the event, according to Variety.
The match between Tyson and Paul was the biggest boxing gate outside of Las Vegas in US history, surpassing $17.8 million views and more than 70,000 people in attendance, according to Deadline.
