The 32-year-old pop star shared her bittersweet feelings about saying goodbye to a successful year and expressed her excitement about starting over in 2025.
Miley Cyrus says she gives it 'all' and is ready to 'start anew'
The 'Flowers' singer, who has been dating musician Maxx Morando since 2021, conveyed her optimism for the new year through an emotional post on Instagram.
Cyrus expressed gratitude for the past year and her enthusiasm for a fresh start. She wrote, "HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND NEW YEAR! It's bittersweet saying goodbye to a year that has been so good to me, but I am looking forward to starting over again."
She continued, "This is one of my favorite parts of not just the creative process but the way life has chosen to teach me."

The singer reflected on her commitment to giving her all in her work, stating, "In everything I do I like to go ALL the way. Give it ALL I've got. ALL for it to come to an end, move on and start anew."
Cyrus admitted, "At times it can be a heartbreaking process but I've always known the pieces to come back together and create something beautiful."

Miley Cyrus dedicates Disney Legend award to 'Hannah Montana' fans
In August, Miley Cyrus made history as the youngest-ever star to receive Disney Legend status.
The singer, who first rose to fame as Hannah Montana, expressed pride in her career milestone. During her acceptance speech, she stated, "I was Hannah Montana and I was so proud to be," Daily Mail noted.
Dedicating the honor to fans, she added, "This award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her amazing, loyal fans, and to everyone who has made my dream a reality."
Cyrus closed her speech by referencing her iconic character, saying, "To quote the legend herself, this is the life."

Miley Cyrus purchased the vintage Bob Mackie gown she wore to the Grammy Awards, where she won her first two Grammys Record of the Year and Best Solo Pop Performance for her hit 'Flowers'.
The dress was sold as part of the 'Hollywood Legends: Unmistakably Mackie' collection by Turner Classic Movies and Julien's Auctions.
Reflecting on the moment, she said, "This dress represents more than a performance — it's a celebration of the relationship between music, artistry and glamour."
Designer Bob Mackie also praised her, saying, "Miley's performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards marked an unforgettable moment in her career. As the designer of this dress, I couldn't imagine it on anyone else. That girl was born to perform!"
Miley Cyrus hopes Grammy wins 'don't change anything'
During her acceptance speech at the Grammys, Miley Cyrus vowed to remain grounded despite winning two awards.
"This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn't change anything, because my life was beautiful yesterday," she said according to Grammy.
She added, "Not everyone in the world will get a GRAMMY, but everyone in this world is spectacular. So please don't think that this is important, even though this is very important, right guys? We're very excited to put this on the piano."
