Miley Cyrus reveals her ‘soul aches’ for LA wildfire victims
Miley Cyrus recently took to her Instagram Stories to share her thoughts about the LA wildfires, saying that it has reminded her of the 2018 Woolsey blaze that destroyed her own home.
Sharing an image of what had been left of her burnt-down property which she formerly shared with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus wrote, “This image hits me hard in the heart today. This is a photo taken of my front porch in 2018 after losing our house in the Woolsey fires.”
She continued, “It's a feeling you don't ever forget. Walking up to the door you would pass through daily, looking forward to being greeted by the ones you love like you always do but instead being met by a pile of ash and rubble.”
The ‘Hannah Montana’ star further said, “My soul aches for those who are experiencing this devastation firsthand and I cry for my city.”
“It's beyond heartbreaking. Los Angeles represents "living the dream" but the reality today is wreckage and destruction,” added the 'Flowers' singer.

“Time, resources and dedication from inside and outside of our community will heal us, but it hurts deeply for now……,” Cyrus further added, before signing off, “Love always, Miley.”
The 'Can't Be Tamed' singer also linked the Malibu Foundation in her Story, which she “helped launch” six years ago during the time of the Woolsey Fire.
Daily Mail reported that the organization “is providing comprehensive, needs-based relief for victims of the January 2025 wildfires - including the Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, and Sunset Fires.”
It is also notably “prioritizing the most vulnerable populations, including low-income families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and uninsured households.”
