Millie Bobby says her first year of marriage with Jake Bongiovi felt like only 'two seconds'

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Millie Bobby Brown is looking back on her first year of marriage to Jake Bongiovi and what the experience has taught her.

The couple got engaged in April 2023 before officially tying the knot in a private ceremony in May 2024.

While attending the red carpet premiere of her Netflix film, 'The Electric State', at The Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, February 24, Millie Bobby Brown spoke with Entertainment Tonight about what the past year has meant to her.

"I think it's just taught me how grateful you should be, to enjoy connection and love and friendship," Brown said while reflecting on her marriage to Bongiovi.

The 'Stranger Things' actress, who turned 21 earlier this month, shared that she has loved being married for nearly a year.

"I've had, you know, such a joy being able to be married for a year already. It's felt like two seconds," Brown continued.

"I feel like it's blinked, so I think just cherish and hold on to all the amazing moments you get to experience with your loved ones," she said.

On Monday, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made a glamorous appearance at the red carpet premiere of 'The Electric State' in Los Angeles.

She revealed that she and Bongiovi have already started talking about building a family together.

“We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want," Brown said.

"It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him," she added.
