LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Mindy Kaling faced online trolling after she posted what appeared to be a photoshopped photo on her Instagram on Friday, May 17.
The 45-year-old actress used a single image of herself sporting a blue swimming suit to promote her partnership with the swimwear company Andie.
The former 'Office' star, 43, was holding an ice cream cone in the photo while wearing a sleeveless one-piece.
The caption of the post reads: "Join me for a wet hot American summer, complete with soft serve, unrequited crushes, and these incredibly flattering swimsuits from my Summer Camp collection with @andieswim."

The 'Office' actress was spotted posing on the beach on Wednesday, shortly before the waves crashed in. She was dressed in a one-piece yellowish-orange swimming suit from the Capri model.
The updated Instagram caption said, "Mindy + The Amalfi + all-new Daffodil = major swoon," per Daily Mail.
She also posed next to a lake, flaunting her form in a red swimsuit. Mindy's beachwear collection on Andie's website reads: "Swimsuits and cover-ups reminiscent of glorious, carefree camp seasons of summers past."

Recently, Mindy has shed more than 30 pounds. She also expressed how happy she was with her figure, which has given her the courage to pose for swimsuit ads.
"I'm feeling really confident in my body these days, which is not something that I've been able to say for my whole life, unfortunately," Mindy admitted. "I feel great."
She further noted, "I know people are really interested in my body and the changes in my body, and I think it's flattering and sometimes it's just a little much, so I don't try to tune it in too much. The truth is that I spend so much time and energy trying to be healthy."
