WASHINGTON, DC: Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga) has issued a stark warning to President Donald Trump, cautioning her former ally that his ambitious new immigration policy could "leave people furious" if he fails to deliver.

The retiring congresswoman, who recently announced her departure from the House following a bitter split with the President, took to X on Friday, November 28, to critique Trump's Thanksgiving declaration. While many in the MAGA movement celebrated the President's pledge to "permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries," Greene offered a more cautious perspective on the promise.

Marjorie Taylor Greene warns against overpromising on immigration

"One of the worst mistakes you can ever make is over promise and under deliver," Greene wrote in a post aimed at the President's latest policy announcement.

She argued that raising expectations too high could have political consequences. "It will leave people furious to the point they won’t even appreciate the good things they received," Greene added, noting that "Big promises have and still are being made."

The comments mark a continued shift for Greene, who has positioned herself as an outsider willing to criticize the "MAGA Inc" establishment since her resignation announcement last week.

Donald Trump announces permanent pause on Third World migration

"I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the US system to fully recover, terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions… & remove anyone who is not a net asset to the US, or is incapable of loving our Country," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Greene's warning was a response to the President's hardline approach, which he justified by citing the "refugee burden" as a cause of social dysfunction in America, pointing to "failed schools, high crime, urban decay" as consequences of current immigration levels.

Trump's Thanksgiving message also included personal attacks on Minnesota officials, singling out the state's Somali community. He claimed, "Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for 'prey,'" and blasted Governor Tim Walz as "seriously retarded" for allegedly doing nothing to stop it. He also targeted Rep Ilhan Omar, questioning the legality of her marriage and citizenship.

"Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation," Trump concluded, wishing a "Happy Thanksgiving" to everyone except those who "hate, steal, murder, and destroy everything that America stands for."
