Thank you guys for finally seeing that we weren’t lying. I will always admit I was spoiled beyond belief but I’m doing all I can to correct my flaws. https://t.co/nKLNL7G7zf

He went on to mention, “We were bad children, sure. Yes. But my sisters have always deserved better. They don’t deserve this outright disrespect. Hate us all day. You don’t get to be a piece of sh*t forever and still skate by with all that we know.”
“We saved that man from federal prison. That’s all I’m going to say. But after all of this, I still love him so much because I know there’s my dad in there somewhere. But he’s a drone now. So f–king sad. Miss you, Dad,” Niko added.

Julie McKnight expresses her frustration toward Brian McKnight
Niko’s mother and Brian’s first wife Julie also blasted him in an Instagram video.
She said, “The point at the end of every negative situation, whether it’s an illness, whether it’s a fool that you have to deal with because they keep entering your life when you are no longer giving any more energy to it, it’s to only keep you down to where they thought they had you because they were the author of an extremely abusive situation emotionally, mentally.”

“And they’re no good at not being the center of that attention anymore. So when everybody pulls that away, it’s like a kid who throws a tantrum,” the 52-year-old added.
Brian McKnight receives backlash
Brian's controversial comments came in response to a fan's question on Instagram last week. He referred to his children as a "product of sin" after being accused of "disowning" them during the interaction.
Meanwhile, many people slammed the 54-year-old singer-songwriter on social media for his comments.
A person commented below the Page Six article, “What a tool! At least acknowledge that they, in fact, ARE your children, good, bad, or indifferent. If he doesn't want anything to do with them, that's his choice but to say they were ‘born out of evil’? That's pretty bad. What a weird situation for that whole family, and I would lay bets saying that money is the root of the whole thing...it usually is.”
Another shared, “Wow, I was a fan of this man but the way he's talking about his previous 4 kids, he's not a man. he's a stunted boy in a man's body.”
“Blood is blood......There will come a day that you will regret not having a closer relationship with your kids. Sad,” a third said.
Another added, “Brian McKnight is nuts. He can change his name but those adult children are still his children. What a sad story.”
