Nancy Pelosi slammed for 'sending love' to Joe Biden after his cancer diagnosis: 'You’re a backstabber'

WASHINGTON, DC: Nancy Pelosi is learning the hard way that political amnesia doesn’t fly in the age of social media and receipts.
The former House speaker triggered quite a backlash after she sent a warm message to Joe Biden following the shocking announcement of his cancer diagnosis, less than a year after she reportedly helped end his presidential career.

On Sunday, May 18, Pelosi released a statement praising the 82-year-old former president as a “great American patriot,” adding that she and her husband, Paul, "join the millions across the country and around the world praying for him to have strength and a swift recovery in the battle against cancer. Sending love to him and his family.”
President Joe Biden is a great American patriot. Paul and I join the millions across the country and around the world praying for him to have strength and a swift recovery in the battle against cancer. Sending love to him and his family.

But critics were quick to drag Pelosi for what they saw as rank hypocrisy. After all, this was the same person who is said to have led the backroom push to shove Biden off the 2024 ticket following his train-wreck debate performance against Donald Trump in June last year, the Daily Mail reported.
Internet torches Nancy Pelosi for Biden tribute, calls her a 'backstabber'
Nancy Pelosi’s statement wishing Joe Biden a speedy recovery may have been sincere, but social media wasn’t buying it. Netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam the former House speaker and accused her of knowing about the former president's cancer diagnosis.
"You knew of his cancer and mental health decline yet you covered it up. All of you should be charged with treason," one user wrote on X.
"Did you feel that way when you kicked him off the 2024 Presidential ticket?" another asked.
"This is the same Nancy Pelosi who pushed him aside the second it was politically convenient. Now she’s sending love and prayers? Nice words, Nancy. We see the play. Politics first. Always," someone else remarked.
"We certainly send prayers for Joe... but we REALLY want to send the FBI to the rest of you ILLEGALLY running the country, taking advantage of Joe as your puppet!" another commented.
"After you stabbed in the back, you call him a patriot. You’re a Backstabber," one person alleged.

Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis raises alarming questions

Joe Biden’s prostate cancer diagnosis was announced by his office on May 18 and sparked a wave of questions about how such an aggressive disease could have gone undetected.
The cancer, which has already metastasized to his bones, came with a Gleason score of 9 and a Grade Group of 5—one of the most dire prognoses for prostate cancer. The highest possible Gleason score is 10, meaning Biden’s condition is advanced and aggressive.
The diagnosis followed the recent discovery of a “small nodule” on his prostate. But many medical experts aren’t convinced this was a sudden find. In fact, some say it’s borderline impossible that this wasn’t detected earlier, especially for someone with Biden’s level of healthcare access.
Dr Howie Forman, a Yale professor and physician, said it was "inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency.”
He noted that prostate cancer is routinely caught through blood tests, specifically PSA (prostate-specific antigen) screenings, which are common in men over 50.
And in Biden’s case, Forman said that the test for prostate-specific antigen would have shown he had cancer "for some time before this diagnosis."
It is inconceivable that this was not being followed before he left the Presidency. Gleason grade 9 would have had an elevated PSA level for some time before this diagnosis. And he must have had a PSA test numerous times before. This is odd.

The physician insisted that Biden’s diagnosis may not be as recent as it seems, and that the public may have been kept in the dark for political reasons.
“It’s just so odd to discover this with bone [metastasis] in a man of his stature and [with his] access to care,” Forman concluded. He even wondered aloud whether Biden had received any screening in the past 12 years and if he “had a normal PSA prior to [age] 70?”
Completely true. But do you believe that 1) he really never had screening these past dozen years and 2) he had a normal psa prior to 70? It’s just so odd to discover this with bone Mets in a man of his stature and access to care.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr accused the Biden administration of a "cover-up" while sharing a screengrab from Dr Steven Quay, a physician who labeled prostate cancer as “the easiest cancer to diagnose when it first starts and to watch it progress to bone metastases.”
What I want to know is how did Dr. Jill Biden miss stage five metastatic cancer or is this yet another coverup??? pic.twitter.com/fSqtDmcX4p
