LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Nicki Minaj appeared to take some shots at Steve Stoute and Jay-Z over the weekend regarding her deal with TIDAL.

The "Queen of Rap" went on to ostensibly discuss how stories are being crafted to make her the victim of inquiries regarding Jay-Z's "BFF" Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal troubles.

Nicki Minaj attacks Steve Stoute for claiming that she never signed the TIDAL deal

On the Friday, September 20 episode of 'The Pivot' podcast, Steve Stoute talked about Nicki Minaj's TIDAL deal, which he claims she never signed.

Stoute expressed his frustration over artists criticizing Jay-Z for choosing Kendrick Lamar over Lil Wayne as the headlining act for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show. He also claimed that Nicki was upset about missing the opportunity to perform at the event.

Stoute said in part, "What Nicki did was wrong. To bring up TIDAL, his streaming company, that he gave you equity in, that you didn’t sign the f**king paperwork and that's the reason why you left millions of dollars on the table, that man [Jay-Z] didn't do nothing to you."

Several musicians, including The Queen Barbz, contributed to the streaming platform's March 2015 launch. Nicki previously stated that she never received any money from TIDAL, even after Jay-Z sold it for $300 million, as per XXL Magazine.

Following the release of the podcast episode, Nicki took to X (formerly Twitter) to reflect on a call she had received about TIDAL being sold in 2021 and the platform only giving her a compensation of $1 million.

The 'Bang Bang' singer claimed to have been "scammed" and to have only been offered $1 million to be "silenced," but she turned down the offer.

She went on to make fun of TIDAL for supposedly disseminating false information about musicians getting paid when Jay-Z sold the platform to Jack Dorsey in 2021, as per Complex.

Nicki wrote, "I received a call advising tidal was sold & they made no money on the deal so all they could offer me was a million dollars. but wait, there’s more! The lawyer advised that Desirat advised him that I HAD TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT IN 24 HOURS IF I WANTED THE 1MM or the 'offer' was off the table."

"Listen to the end of 'Fractions' for what my response was," added the rapper, referring to her 2021 track.

In another, she mentioned, "So Barbz, thank you for supporting something I was a part of. I love you. But I was scammed & offered a million dollars to be silenced. I declined. The grace of God is sufficient. I didn’t need their hush money."

Nicki Minaj appears to reference abuse allegations brought against Sean 'Diddy' Combs

In a different post, Nicki Minaj appeared to indicate that Steve Stoute was attempting to leverage her reputation to draw attention away from Sean "Diddy" Combs' recent arrest.

The 'Barbie World' singer brought up her husband Kenny Petty's alleged sexual assault case, noting how discussions about it were allowed but not the allegations surrounding Jay-Z's involvement with Foxy Brown.

She also pondered on whether Stoute was aware of the alleged mistreatment Diddy's ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, the late Kim Porter, or Aaliyah endured in the entertainment business.

Diddy was arrested on Monday, September 16, and is being prosecuted on serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. He is currently in custody awaiting his trial after a judge denied his bail petition.

On X, Nicki wrote, "They gotta keep the conversation on me so that no one asks about these charges against their BFF. I mean it seems the 30 year old tea here is FAR from stale. Patterns. Yet. SAS, UGLY ALIEN, STOUT, d**k breath, etc all talking about Onika ? Why they talking bout Oniqua?!?!?!"

Hinting at the abuse allegations brought against Diddy, Nicki added, "Aaliyah, Foxy, etc. during R. Kelly videos shoots & stuff?? Did u know about the abuse to Kim porter & Cassie?Yall seemed to always run in a sorta…RAT PACK. So that's what we theppl want you & your peeps to speak on. Ugly. Bald head bowling ball bitch. U [N-word] don't have this energy for gangsters in person. Only for b****s on the internet."
