Nicki Minaj's past feud with Taylor Swift
Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift's feud goes back to 2015.
During that year's MTV Video Music Awards, Minaj took to social media to rant, "If I was a different 'kind' of artist, Anaconda would be nominated for best choreo and vid of the year as well. When the 'other' girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination."

'Anaconda', released in August 2014, has since amassed over a billion views on YouTube.
Swift, who had received nine nominations at the 2015 VMAs, including Video of the Year (which she ultimately won), felt that some of Minaj's words were aimed at her. She went on to respond, "I've done nothing but love and support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot."
However, the two have reportedly worked out their issues since. Not only did Minaj compliment Swift on her music in 2023, she admitted that she would collaborate with her "in a heartbeat."

"QUEEN SUPPORTING QUEENS," a person added, with someone else saying, "Manifesting collab w/ these legends."
"She has NEVER been hateful. EVER. and she proves it more everyday," an admirer of Minaj wrote.
