LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Taylor Swift recently revealed in a statement about the "heartbreaking" Los Angeles wildfires that she has donated an undisclosed amount for relief efforts and encouraged her fans to also do the same.
The 'Love Story' singer listed a series of charities, including the California Community Foundation Fund, Greater Los Angeles Education Relief, Habitat for Humanity, MusiCares, and others in her Instagram story.

The 35-year-old pop icon wrote in her Instagram Story, "The fires in California have devastated so many families, and it’s been heartbreaking to see the stories unfold."
She added, "So much suffering, loss and destruction. As so many embark on some of the most challenging times of their lives, there are also many amazing organizations and groups banding together to help these communities rebuild."
"These are the organizations I’ve donated to. If you feel compelled or able to donate, please do," she concluded.
While Swift has a house in Beverly Hills, the wildfires did not reach her property. She bought the 10,982-square-foot home for $25 million in 2015, according to Page Six.
Notably, she was likely not in California when the fires broke out on January 7 morning as she has been spending most of her time between Kansas City and New York.
Swift has a long history of donating to victims of natural calamities. In October 2024, the pop icon donated $5 million to Hurricane Helene and Milton’s efforts in Florida, per the outlet.
Even though she didn’t post about her contribution on social media, non-profit Feeding America later thanked the pop star for her donation, which helped "communities rebuild and recover, [provided] essential food, clean water and supplies to people affected by these devastating storms."
Moreover, she also donated $1 million to Louisiana flood relief in 2016 and $1 million to Tennessee tornado relief in 2020, reported Page Six.

Most recently, Leonardo DiCaprio announced that he is making a $1 million donation toward operations helping firefighters battle the ongoing Los Angeles wildfires and victims of the devastating calamity.
Firefighters battling wildfires that have wreaked destruction across LA for nine days have had some respite on Thursday, January 16, from the weather. The near hurricane-strength winds that initially fanned the flames and hampered rescue efforts have weakened, according to BBC.
The has been progress in containing the two largest fires burning across a combined total of about 40,000 acres. At least 27 people have died and more than 12,000 structures have been destroyed in some of the worst fires in memory to engulf Los Angeles, the outlet mentioned.
