The ‘Dogville’ actress went on to explain, “And I find it really exciting when you go, ‘Here’s someone that’s so experienced and has been working and working, but they’ve now really hit their stride,'” reported Variety.

“I worked with Karyn Kusama on ‘Destroyer,’ and she’s gone on to ‘Yellowjackets’ and so many big things now. She was at a point where she was frustrated and not getting the things made that she wanted and wasn’t having the opportunities,” Kidman further said.

Netizens react to Nicole Kidman's wish to work with Martin Scorsese

Internet weighed in on Nicole Kidman's remark about wanting to work with Martin Scorsese.

A user commented on X (formerly Twitter), "Nicole Kidman’s list of dream directors is legendary! Imagine the magic she’d create with Scorsese or Bigelow."

"Nicole Kidman shared some exciting names of directors," an individual shared.

Another fan chimed, "Nicole Kidman has some amazing directors in mind! Working with legends like Scorsese, Bigelow, and Anderson would be a dream for any actor. Exciting to think about the powerful projects she could be a part of next!"

"Could you imagine those collaborations? Pure gold," another person reacted.

One suggested, "Haneke with Huppert and Kidman need to happen ASAP! Lol @ 'if he does a film with women.'”

A moviegoer opined, "I don’t know why everyone is so upset about this. If you’re a Scorsese fan than you know she’s right. Most of his movies are very male focused and the female characters are usually quite secondary. Him having directed KOTFM doesn’t erase that. Every director has blind spots."
