While she’s been a devoted mother to her two youngest children Sunday Rose Urban, 16, and Faith Urban, 14, her bond with her adopted children, Bella, 31, and Connor Cruise, 29, has been strained for years over Tom Cruise.

However, their relationship could be on the mend. Nicole Kidman's adopted children reportedly wrote a supportive letter for her after the death of her mother Janelle Ann Kidman.

Nicole Kidman, who was attending the festival to accept the Best Actress award for her role in 'Babygirl', learned of her mother's passing while attending the Venice International Film Festival. She delivered an emotional speech, describing her mother as "beautiful" and "brave," and crediting her as the woman who shaped her life.
