BLUE BELL, PENNSYLVANIA: President Joe Biden blasted his predecessor and likely competitor Donald Trump over his anti-immigrant language echoing the words of Nazi German dictator Adolf Hitler.

In his first campaign rally for the 2024 re-election bid hosted by the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO), on the eve of the third anniversary of the January 6 capitol insurrection, Biden came up with a full-fledged attack against the former President.

At Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, on Friday, January 5, the President said, "He [Trump] calls those who oppose him vermin. He talks about the blood of America as being poisoned, echoing the same exact language used in Nazi Germany."

The President also shared the clip of his speech blasting Trump on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Though the GOP candidate has denied any knowledge of Hitler, the incumbent's campaign focused on reminding the voters of the former's inclinations toward authoritarianism.

A significant part of Biden's first campaign speech was about the January 6 Capitol attack, how Trump supported the insurrectionists, and how he is still using it in the ongoing campaign.

With the border crisis and the rising number of undocumented immigrants entering the country through its southern border, Trump's campaign speeches have resorted to an immigrant language resembling Hitler's. Even the White House slammed the former President's remarks, calling it a "grotesque rhetoric of fascists."

'No confusion about who Trump is'

Biden went full-on in criticizing the Republican frontrunner. The probable Democratic nominee stated that Trump "proudly posts on social media the words that best describe his 2024 campaign. Revenge, power, and dictatorship."

"There's no confusion about who Trump is, what he intends do."

The President continued slamming his rival, warning the voters that Trump is "not concerned about their future."

"Trump is now promising a full-scale campaign of revenge and retribution, his words, for some years to come. They were his words, not mine. He went on to say he'd be a dictator on day one."

The 2024 presidential election is most likely to be a Biden-Trump rematch. Opinion polls are not in favor of the incumbent in his competition against the Republican frontrunner, unfortunately.

According to different poll analyses shared on the FiveThirtyEight website, Biden is trailing behind Trump by a slight margin.

Internet supports Joe Biden

Internet seems to agree with Biden's remarks, emphasizing the importance of holding the former President accountable using his own statements.

Many shared their opinions under the X post of liberal news network Meidas Touch's senior digital editor Acyn and Biden's official page.

One user said, "No lies detected."

Another user remarked, "I’m glad they have been waiting for this. This is the message. Use trumps own words against him."

"My heart feels better knowing that Trumps words and behavior are fully recognized all the way to the top. We are not screaming into a void…it is going to be OK," read a third reaction.

One user added, "This is exactly how Biden needs to campaign! With fire and ire to bring down the liar."

"Telling it like it is. It is past time to call the overt bigotry, lies, and contempt for democracy exhibited by Trump exactly what it is: fascism." read another response.
