SANTA CLARA, CALIFORNIA: Rap icon Eminem found himself in the crosshairs of internet criticism on Sunday, January 28, for his aggressive gesture towards 49ers fans while he passionately supported his favorite team, the Detroit Lions.

However, the tables turned by the end of the game as the 49ers staged a remarkable comeback to secure a spot in the Super Bowl, leaving their fans with the last laugh.

The rapper was spotted at Levi's Stadium, cheering on his team as they aimed for their first Super Bowl appearance in the history of the franchise.

He was seen making a defiant double middle finger gesture towards San Francisco fans from his suite.

The Lions kicked off the game strongly, leading 24-7 at halftime. However, they couldn’t maintain their momentum in the second half, eventually losing to the 49ers with a score of 34-31, per Daily Mail.

Before the game, 'Slim Shady' humorously suggested to Detroit's head coach Dan Campbell that he should be included in the game.

He showed his support by donning a Lions T-shirt and hat at the game on Sunday.

Ahead of Sunday's clash, Eminem said in a video cited by New York Post, "Yo Dan, I'm reporting, I'm gonna report [in the] third quarter."

He continued, "I'm reporting, offensive line, eligible receiver, I'll be the quarterback, the entire offensive line and the receiver, and I will throw it to myself and I will score a touchdown in the third quarter."

"Just give me a uniform, or at just least like a helmet. I already have a helmet, it's not the one for football. It's just a helmet. But yeah man, I'm here, bro," he said

Eminem added, "I'm gonna be there, I'm gonna be there that night, I will suit up and I will score us the winning touchdown."
