'Absolute GOAT': Internet shreds Dr Umar for saying Eminem cannot be greatest rapper as he's 'not Black'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Dr Umar Johnson stirred up a storm by challenging the greatness of Eminem's accomplishments in the rap world in a recent installment of 'The Joe Budden Podcast'.
The 49-year-old "pan-Africanist" has put forward the notion that the rapper cannot be considered among the most exceptional rappers because he's "not Black."
Recently, news of Eminem's death created a stir on various social media platforms.

The motivational speaker and psychologist, known primarily for his provocative online discourses and perspectives on race, recently joined Joe and his team as a guest.
A part of their discussion is gaining attention in hip-hop circles as the internet personality downplayed the rapper's accomplishments, stating that he cannot be considered the greatest rapper of all time due to his skin clolor.
The term GOAT is frequently used on social media. Recently, Michael Strahan humorously declared himself as the GOAT after his co-host Robin Roberts mistakenly referred to him as Michael Jordan on live television.
According to Dr Umar, Eminem cannot be considered one of the greatest rappers in hip-hop due to his ethnicity.
He argued that since hip-hop was birthed by Black individuals, no White person can surpass the creators of this music and culture in terms of talent and contribution.
"No non-African can ever be the best of anything African," Umar said. "It's an insult to the ancestors. It's an insult to the race and it's an insult to every Black person."
"Do you think I can go to Palestine and be the best of anything of Palestinian culture? You never see that," he went on.
"You think I can go to Israel and be the best of anything in Israel whether it be a cook, an instrumentalist, a dancer? Hell no."
"We have to stop naming non-African people as being the best of any aspect in our cultural product because it's an insult," Umar noted.

Another fan said, "That's not white supremacy. That's rap supremacy. Eminem is the absolute G.O.A.T."
