Patriots boss Robert Kraft faces backlash for suggesting Taylor Swift should have dated Rob Gronkowski
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Robert Kraft, the CEO of New England Patriots, is under fire after suggesting pop icon Taylor Swift should have dated Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski instead of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
Numerous individuals came to Swift's defense against Kraft's comments.
Swifties were also leading the way and shielding their idol when BLM (Black Lives Matter) co-founder and Californian professor Melina Abdullah made a derogatory comment about the singer and her fandom, suggesting that listening to Swift's music is 'slightly racist'.
On the other hand, Rob Gronkowski, who might be a better suitor for Swift as per Kraft, and Kelce recently had a friendly dance-off at Gronk Beach, an annual event hosted by Gronkowski. Talking about it on Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show', Gronkowski stated that he and Swift's beau Kelce are great partners, and their dance-off ended in a tie.

In a video posted on Instagram, Kraft reminisces about meeting Swift when she was 18, mentioning, "Taylor, her first stadium concert on my birthday, in 2010, June 5th. We convinced her and her family that she could sell out a stadium."

"So when she came to view the Chiefs play the Patriots this year at Gillette. I gave her a framed ticket from that concert," he adds.
Kraft further states in the viral clip, "She was probably like 18, 19, and she has done pretty well since then. Maybe she should’ve been dating Gronk. He’s better looking."

Robert Kraft's comments draw ire on Internet
However, Kraft's comments about Swift's dating life faced criticism on Facebook.
A user wrote, "It's her choice and none of your business ‼️"
Another said, "Old men deciding what a beautiful, talented billionaire should do…is gross. And this guy is grosser than most."
A user commented, "Omg another man who thinks he can tell her what to do because she is…a woman.😡 And jealous because the Chiefs have bumped the Patriots off their self-appointed throne.😡 Can someone please send him the memo?"
Someone else noted, "Kraft needs to worry about himself."
