'Not for the weak': Megan Thee Stallion shocks fans as she drinks liquor from bottle containing live snake
TOKYO, JAPAN: Megan Thee Stallion surprised her social media followers with a TikTok video of herself trying Japanese snake wine while exploring Japan.
The rapper already caused a stir with her cameo appearance in the 'Mean Girls' reboot which sparked controversy after she joked about Lindsay Lohan which the actress didn't like. The joke was later dropped from the cameo.
Stallion was also caught up in a feud with rapper Nicki Minaj, who accused her of shading her in her song 'HISS'. But Stallion received support from her fans and rapper Latto, who appeared to be on Stallion's side.
Megan Thee Stallion tries snake wine in Japan
Stallion is in Japan, following her presentation of the Anime of the Year award to 'Jujutsu Kaisen 2' at the 2024 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, HotNewHipHop reports.
During her time in Tokyo, Stallion has not only been showcasing trendy Tokyo-inspired outfits but she's trying out various new experiences too. The rapper dared to taste snake wine, an odd liquor that comes in a bottle with a snake inside.
In a TikTok video, Stallion hesitated as she held the snake wine, known as Habushu, expressing, "What the f**k. Okay... Is this gonna kill me? He's looking at me!" Eventually, she turned the bottle so the snake wasn't facing her before taking a cautious sip.
According to HotNewHipHop, Stallion initially seemed disgusted after tasting the drink, surprised by the unique flavor of the snake. She commented, "That's tough. That's strong. I never knew a snake had a taste. That tastes like a snake."

However, despite her initial reaction, Stallion appeared to develop a liking for the unconventional beverage over time.
