Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella shares vulnerability as she begins chemo after brain tumor diagnosis
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella Strahan bravely shared her experience with chemotherapy following her brain tumor diagnosis.
In the sixth installment of her YouTube series titled 'Needles are no Fun', the 19-year-old student posted a video on Wednesday, February 7, to open up on her health journey as she learned about her condition medulloblastoma in October 2023.

Isabella's vlog featured her preparations for surgery to have a chemotherapy port implanted.
"So I’m getting my port placed today, which is a device that goes on your chest for administering chemo, getting my blood drawn, all that fun stuff," she said sarcastically.
"I’m not excited," the model who is in North Carolina at Duke University added.

The college student then admitted that getting an IV is "not my fav" and "something I don’t want to do."
Before her doctors inserted the needle, Isabella asked for a countdown and squeezed a stress ball as she took a deep breath.
"It didn’t hurt that bad," Isabella said, adding "Sometimes it’s hard to find my veins, so they had to bring in an ultrasound to see where they are. Glad that’s over."

Isabella's latest vlog showed her playing cards with her aunt as she took a break while preparing for further tests and treatment.
"I’m waiting for a kidney test. It’s blood draws at specific times so I’m killing time," said the teenager.

"Busy day. I got an IV put in for this kidney thing…never fun. Healing from my port surgery…not fun at all. I now have a wire in my chest," she continued.
"They just put radioactive dye in my body and then I have a blood draw, and then an EKG, then I have another blood draw, then I have an MRI. So it’s a busy day," she further noted.
Isabella is seen telling her mother that her chest is sore following the port placement surgery.
"Not the most fun," the 19-year-old said in the clip. She first disclosed her brain tumor diagnosis on January 11 during a segment on 'Good Morning America' alongside her father.

Isabella underwent emergency surgery at Cedars-Sinai in October 2023 for the removal of the cancerous mass a day before her 19th birthday, according to People.
